![]() I just cannot seem to catch a break from life lately. Thank you guys, as always, for your patience. I do promise not to vanish for years this time I'm still working on the comic, still feeling those creative urges. To her, it was a meaningful conclusion to her day outside of schedules. Few things were as captivating to Sandy as the sunset, especially back at her old job. But this one had a different meaning to her. I'll try to actually post some, and leave those open to the public for the duration. I'm thinking, at the moment, I'll start posting pages again by the first of September, but even before my grandfather's death I was struggling a bit with some of my mental and physical health issues, so at this point I'm not sure how fast (or slow) my progress will be. The comic is likely going on hiatus for the rest of the summer. I'm not distraught, because when someone's ninety-six there are things you're braced for, but I'm a bit off-kilter.Īs far as the comic goes, there was supposed to be one final page in this sequence I'll get that up, hopefully by next week. Suffice to say, I've been living next door to my grandparents since my mid-teens I've been taking care of him for the last seven years. My grandfather, Leonard Wright, died on June 1st, 2021, at the age of ninety-six, after suffering a major stroke.įor those of you interested, I've written a bit more about his life and death on my Pillowfort this didn't really seem the venue for it.
